Individual Volunteer Opportunities
The types of volunteer opportunities at St. Mary’s Center vary widely. Whether you work directly with programs or “behind the scenes" with our development team, your contribution will make a difference for women, children, and families of St. Mary’s Center.
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
ON CAMPUS:
- Campus beautification & organization projects
- Community event support for holidays and other on-campus activities
- Fundraising event support
- Become a Horizons Playspace Play PAL:
- The Playspace Program gives volunteers the opportunity to give back to their community in a meaningful way that works with their schedule – just
two hours, one evening a week makes a difference for a child living at St. Mary's Center. Volunteers are supported by a dedicated team of staff committed to the success of the volunteers, the program, and the families we serve.
IN YOUR COMMUNITY:
- Donation drives are a wonderful opportunity for volunteers of all ages to engage in meaningful service as a community and to see the results of your efforts in a unique way. Items that we are most in need of include:
- Toiletries
- Household essentials
- Baby items
- Clothing
- Toys & Games
- Gift cards
Donations can be collected and delivered to our Dorchester campus on weekdays before 5pm or by calling 617.436.8600 to arrange a different time.
